As the title character in Gene Roddenberry's hit sci-fi concept,
Andromeda, Lexa certainly made an impression
from the show's very beginning. Unlike the typical sci-fi female roles preceeding her,
Lexa's was tough and smart, without being a blatant pin-up attempt. Unfortunately, a lot
of her earlier work lacked the quality she deserved. That should change now that
she is an international star.
